The 23-year-old YouTuber shared photos at the airport with the MK Party leader. In one of the now-viral photos, the two are seen in a plane, all smiles.However, little is known if the two were travelling together or if they bumped into each other during a flight.

Cyan Boujee’s caption set social media abuzz. The controversial DJ claims that Jacob Zuma is her grandfather. She captioned the post, ‘Cats out the bag! He’s my grandad.’

However, against the post, fans and fellow celebrities quickly flooded her comments section with their two cents.

Some fans noted a striking resemblance between Cyan Boujee and Jacob Zuma. Others were convinced that it was just a picture and that the two were not related.

Despite sharing the same surname it is yet to be confirmed if the two are related or if it was just a post. Cyan Boujee joins a host of celebrities who have been posed for photos with the former President.

My passion for blending traditional and contemporary sounds drove me to pursue a music career, and I began gaining recognition for my unique style.

How long have you been a DJ and music producer, and what inspired you to pursue this career?

I’ve been a DJ and music producer for over a decade. My inspiration came from the love of music I developed during my childhood. Growing up, I was exposed to a wide range of musical styles, and I was particularly drawn to how music could bring people together and create memorable experiences. This passion, combined with a desire to innovate and contribute something unique to the music scene, inspired me to pursue a career in this field.

I had to dig deep to understand Ayanda’s character. I had to recall what it’s like to want something so badly and to fight for what you truly love. I had to dig deep, remember those moments in my life and add into this character,” she said.

“I find her quite similar to Yvonne from BET’s Redemption. I start to wonder if these traits are something I bring out in my characters. Like Yvonne, who is ambitious and pushes people to be their best, Ayanda shares that drive. However, when I consider Kefilwe from Scandal!, she was a free spirit who just happened to be mixed up with the wrong people. So, she is quite different from these other characters. I think the common thread is that I often play strong characters.”

Apart from having scored a new gig, Pearl said working alongside renowned thespian Nimrod Nkosi has been an experience she will never forget.

“He is amazing! Nimrod is such a great actor, and I truly enjoyed working with him. I met him a long time ago when he interviewed me on his talk show on Soweto TV. He didn’t remember that. However, he recognized me from Zaziwa. I think our on-screen dynamics will really shine through.”

She said with all cast members having brought their A-game, it made her also put her best foot forward.

“Working alongside someone like Nimrod Nkosi was quite special. Dineo Rasedile, who has been in the industry for a decade, takes on her first adult role here. Because she looks young, she’s often been cast in younger roles, so seeing her shine in this new role was truly exciting. I think beautiful television is what we’ve created. That’s what I’m really excited about.”
