The famous South African couple have made headlines several times and even trended on social media due to their consistent travels.

 

 

 

The couple’s sources of income have been questioned by critics who are invested in their travel vlogs.

Taking to Instagram, Musa and Liesl shared a cute video of themselves with their luggage, and annoucned their next move in the caption.

“August in the Mthombeni household is anniversary month so that means we’re off to do “ishowoff” and “kom kyk” in foreign lands. Before you say what you’re about to say, remember that this is technically our first international trip in 2024 semester 2. I just want to put things into perspective. With that said, let’s go celebrate 3 years married!” the caption reads.

Zahara secures two nominations

Bulelwa “Zahara’ Mkutukana has been nominated at the South African Afro Music Awards.

The late singer who passed away in December 2023 bagged two nominations.

 

The Loliwe has been nominated for Best Female Afro Soul Artist of Democracy and her 2011 debut album, Loliwe, is nominated for Best Afro Album of Democracy at the South African Afro Music Awards, which will take place on 26 October at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni.

Zonke Dikana, Siphokazi, Judith Sephuma, Moneoa and Thandiswa Mazwai are nominated in the same category as the late singer.

The family of the late Zahara is excited about the nominations, as it proves that her hard work is being recognised.

South African rapper Nasty C had taken on a new challenge outside of the music world—his own weight loss journey.

The Zulu Man with Some Power artist is focusing on improving his physical health and well-being, signaling a fresh chapter in his personal transformation.

 

Nasty C, whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo gained daddy-weight after the birth of his first child. The weight gain sparked conversation among fans as he showed it off in snaps shared on his Instagram account.

The rapper has decided to take his health and body size serious by eating healthy.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a photo of his meal – youghurt, strawberry, oat and nut.

“When ever people post their “getting in shape” journey, it seems to help them follow through.. so.. fingers crossed it works for me too,” he captioned post.

Cassper Nyovest, who is a friend to Nasty C revealed in the comment that he’s also kicked off a weight loss journey.

“Hahaha let’s go champ !!! Just a tip, either shaya the fruit or the muesli. Both are high in carbs and sugar. If you have the muesli, shaya half the bowl. Healthy is not always weight control. Mara we inside !!’ I’m also on my journey to get in shape. I need to be on fire this summer. I want ALL THE CAKE!!!” Nyovest wrote.

Former Miss SA finalist Chidinma Adetshina has received a laudable number of support from South Africans after she joined the Miss Universe Nigeria contest.

The Organisers offered the SA-born model the opportunity which she grabbed as she withdrew from the Miss SA 2024 competition after being cancelled due to her father’s nationality, Nigeria.

 

 

 

Chidinma represents Miss Taraba at the Miss Universe Nigeria competition and she needs vote to get qualified for the next phase.

She died at Garden City Hospital in Johannesburg following “a period of illness,” a statement from the family explained. She was 72.
Her son, Nongelo Chiume, told Newzroom Afrika that his mother had originally been admitted to the hospital for a “medical procedure” and had been “recovering well” prior to her passing.

“The Chiume family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for all the messages of support and condolences during this difficult time, as they cope with the loss of their mother, Connie,” the family said in their statement.
“Her children would like to express their deep appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff who provided exceptional care during her stay,” it continued.
