Chidinma heading to Miss Universe competition
Miss Universe Nigerian Chidinma Vanessa Adetshina is set to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico.
Despite the challenges encountered through her pageantry journey, the 23-year-old remains focused and determined.
Taking to social media, Chidinma shared a lovely video of herself and captioned with a message to Nigeria.
“While the King may rule the Kingdom, it is a Queen who moves the board. The Journey to Miss Universe has been humbling, yet fulfilling. A testament that Resilience is the deal breaker.”
“As We countdown to Miss Universe, I enjoin all Nigerians to take on the Universe with me,” she wrote.
Model Chidinma Adetshina, the former Miss South Africa finalist trends on social media as her age sparks a controversy among users.
The model who is currently contesting for Miss Universe Nigeria revealed that her age is 23, but the investigation carried out by the Department of Home Affairs and Hawks has caused a debate.
Chidinma was reportedly born at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital to a Nigerian father and mother of Mozambique descent.
“The child of the woman whose identity was stolen by Chidimma mother is the one who was born in 2001 not the model, so we don’t know how old is Chidimma. Not forgetting she lied to the President of #MissUniverseNigeria that the case was dropped,” a tweep wrote.
