Reflecting on the passing of Gospel legend Solly Moholo
As we mourn the loss of this talented artist, we can’t help but wonder… Where were we when he needed us most?…….
Between August and September, Solly Moholo appealed for donations for his surgery. Yet, it seems fewer people and celebrities shared his plea compared to the outpouring of Rest in Peace messages now.
Many people die after asking for help, yet we often laugh about it and don’t share these stories. When someone passes away, we are quick to call them a legend or he was a good person.
How can we create a more supportive community?Some of us we were shaped by his music. Rest in peace Solly Moholo. The first time I met you in person it was 2002, together with Thandiswa Mazwai. Robala ka khotso ntante Moholo.
