Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got started in the music industry?
I grew up in Giyani, Limpopo, South Africa, and from a young age, I was deeply immersed in music. My early years were filled with the sounds of traditional South African music, which greatly influenced me. I started DJing and producing as a teenager, honing my skills in local venues and small gatherings. My passion for blending traditional and contemporary sounds drove me to pursue a music career, and I began gaining recognition for my unique style.

How has your hometown influenced your music?
I’m originally from Giyani, a vibrant town in Limpopo, South Africa. My hometown has had a profound influence on my music. It’s a place rich in cultural heritage and traditional music, which has shaped my sound. The traditional rhythms and melodies I grew up with are a fundamental part of my music, and I strive to incorporate these elements into my work, blending them with modern Amapiano beats to create something fresh and innovative.

How long have you been a DJ and music producer, and what inspired you to pursue this career?
I’ve been a DJ and music producer for over a decade. My inspiration came from the love of music I developed during my childhood. Growing up, I was exposed to a wide range of musical styles, and I was particularly drawn to how music could bring people together and create memorable experiences. This passion, combined with a desire to innovate and contribute something unique to the music scene, inspired me to pursue a career in this field.
