Queen Modjadji actress Makoma Mohale recently joined My Top 10 at 10 with Tbose for an exclusive interview.
Reflecting on her success, Makoma emphasised the importance of setting clear intentions: “When you want something in life, you must write it down,” she said, likening it to planting a seed. “Revisit it and ensure you work towards it,” she added.
Discussing how her role in Queen Modjadji came about, Makoma shared that she was shooting a pilot scene when she received the call. “I had prepared and done some research, but when I arrived, they gave me a different script.” Fortunately, the production had language advisors, and they rehearsed the lines together.
After the series was officially commissioned, Makoma invested time in preparing for the audition. “I got a call the following week congratulating me on the role. It took a while for it to sink in,” she admitted.
