Ronn Moss, the actor behind The Bold and the Beautiful’s Ridge Forrester – one of the soapie’s most recogised faces – has had South African fans doing a double take over his appearance.
The TV lothario was known for his love triangle with Brooke Logan and Taylor Hayes, played by Katherine Kelly Lang and Hunter Tyler, respectively.
He was widely recognised for his jet-black hair and chiselled features.
‘RIDGE FORRESTER’ ACTOR HAS MZANSI AMUSED
On the X app, South Africans have been retweeting a clip of Ronn Moss, who played Ridge Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful.
The actor played his infamous role from 1987 to 2012. Thereafter, his character was replaced by fellow actor Thorsten Kaye, a move which angered many soapie fans.
In the video clip, Ronn is seen warning his social media followers not to fall for imposters using fake accounts.
On his Instagram account, comments under the original post were filled by South African fans who remembered watching the actor on their TV screens.

THE END OF AN ERA FOR ‘BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’ ON SA SCREENS
In 2012, Ronn Moss crushed hearts around the world when he announced that he would be leaving The Bold and the Beautiful after 25 years of playing Ridge Forrester.
Fast forward to 2019, and South Africans were crushed when SABC revealed that the soapie would officially come to an end via their SABC platforms.
The public broadcaster said the decision was a “financial one as the series return on investment was not matching the increased financial investment to acquire the property.”
