Senzo Meyiwa’s Brother Sfiso Claims Kelly Khumalo Used Muti on Late Goalkeeper: Mzansi Reacts

Sfiso Meyiwa, the brother of the late Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, recently made shocking claims that have reignited public interest in the circumstances surrounding his brother’s tragic death. In an appearance on the popular “Podcast and Chill,” Sfiso alleged that singer Kelly Khumalo, who was romantically involved with Senzo at the time of his death, used a love potion, commonly referred to as “muti,” to keep the goalkeeper under her control.

The Allegations Against Kelly Khumalo

According to Sfiso, Senzo initially sought a casual relationship with Khumalo, despite being married. He revealed that his brother showed him text messages from Kelly, in which Senzo expressed his interest in her. However, Sfiso warned Senzo about the potential pitfalls of dating a celebrity. At first, Senzo assured his brother that his intentions were limited to a brief fling, stating he planned to “hit and run” and leave it at that.

However, things soon took a different turn, according to Sfiso’s account. After their initial encounter, Khumalo allegedly became relentless in her pursuit of the footballer. Sfiso claimed that despite Senzo’s efforts to ignore her, Khumalo would not give up. She allegedly went as far as sleeping outside the Meyiwa family home one night, waiting for Senzo to confront her, declaring that she would not allow their relationship to be reduced to a one-night stand.

### Mzansi’s Reaction to the Claims

Sfiso’s allegations have sparked intense debate on social media, with many users expressing outrage and others offering their support. On platforms such as Twitter (now known as X), opinions have been deeply divided, with some individuals demanding Khumalo’s arrest, while others criticized Senzo for his infidelity.

One user, Nkosi_Shebi, commented, “There you have it, folks. Arrest Kelly Khumalo and throw away the key,” while another, BellsWaDee, added fuel to the fire by claiming that Khumalo may have used similar tactics on rapper Jub Jub, with whom she also had a tumultuous relationship.

Not everyone, however, was convinced by Sfiso’s claims. Some critics shifted the blame back to Senzo, highlighting the dangers of being unfaithful. Dr_Shiyaklenga remarked, “Being a womaniser doesn’t end well; I hope brothers are learning. It’s either you die, or you end up broke.” Another user, thloogi, was less sympathetic, stating, “Men are genuinely so lame, like, I can’t. Do you not feel lame doing this?”

Amidst the ongoing controversy, there has been some positive news regarding Senzo’s widow, Mandisa Mkhize. In a previous report by Briefly News, it was revealed that Mandisa has found love again and is preparing to remarry, almost a decade after her husband’s tragic death. Mzansi celebrated the news, expressing their happiness that she has moved on and found happiness despite the heartache she endured.

Sfiso Meyiwa’s recent claims have added yet another layer of complexity to the already contentious narrative surrounding Senzo Meyiwa’s life and untimely death. While some are quick to condemn Kelly Khumalo based on these accusations, others believe that more focus should be placed on Senzo’s actions and choices. As the investigation into his murder continues, public interest in the case remains as strong as ever, with these new allegations further fueling speculation and debate across South Africa.
