Solly Moholo’s management call for donations for medical bills amounting to R700K

Solly Moholo’s management is calling for donations amounting to R700,000 to cover the gospel singer’s medical bills.

Moholo who was hospitalised in Botswana after falling ill in August, reportedly suffered multiple organ failure and required brain surgery.In a statement, issued by Moholo’s attorneys, an update on the popular singer’s condition was shared, and his medical bill was made public.


 

 

 

 

“We refer to the aforementioned matter and confirm we act on behalf of Mr Solomon Majafela Molokoane, popularly known as Solly Moholo. We write this letter on behalf of the Molokoane family.

We wish to formally notify and confirm to the public of a significant and urgent matter concerning Solly Moholo. On 22 August 2024, Mr Molokoane commenced a promotional tour in Botswana for his forthcoming album, which is presently scheduled for release on 14 September.

Unfortunately, during this tour, Solly Moholo suffered a stroke and multiple organ failure, necessitating immediate and extensive medical intervention, including brain surgery.

Solly Moholo has been admitted to a hospital for critical medical care and is currently in ICU. The medical costs associated with his treatment have accumulated to an approximate amount of R700,000 (seven hundred thousand Rands).

Given the substantial nature of these expenses, the Molokoane family is urgently seeking financial support from the public at large as well as his associates and/or supporters to assist on covering of his medical costs.

Your financial support during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated and will significantly aid the Molokoane family in managing the financial burden associated with Solly Moholo’s treatment to ensure his speedy recovery.”
