“SOME experiences make you appreciate the little things in life.”

Those are the words of reality TV star and socialite Tebogo Ramokgadi, who came close to death.

The 38-year-old cast member of the Diamond and Dolls reality show said life is too short, and he’ll never take it for granted.
. He said he ate something bad at a restaurant that made him sick.


 

“I vomited for hours, like I was going to die. The doctor said it was food poisoning,” he said.
Tebogo said he realised how easy it is to lose life.

“I was lucky to make it and for that, I’ll never see my life the same,” he said.

Tebogo said when his life was flashing before his eyes, his mum came to mind.

“My biggest fear is to die before my mum. I need to bury her, not the other way around,” he said.

Even though bad food can also cause food pning, Tebogo is confused about what caused his.

“My friends are adamant that someone poisoned me, but I have no idea, and don’t want to stress myself about that.”

He said whatever caused the food poisoning has helped him change his mindset.

“The most important thing is me being alive and now, I’m going to live my best life and work even harder,” he said.
He said he’ll also be more careful about what he puts in his mouth.

“I’m now more cautious about my food and the people I hang around with,” he said.

Tebogo said he’s working on the next reality show that will focus on famous people.
